Optima makes
two types of trolling motor battery: The Optima Troll Fury and the Optima
D31M trolling motor battery. All Optima trolling motor batteries are built
with patented Spiralcell construction. Optima trolling motor batteries have
higher purity lead than conventional batteries and can be recharged faster
than other types. They are over 14 times more shock resistant than regular
lead acid batteries. The unique design of Optima trolling motor batteries
allows them to be mounted in any position. Optima group 31 trolling motor
batteries are sealed and maintenance free but their vents have nipples which
will accept a hose for remote venting, allowing their use in sealed areas.
